Conflicts of Interest
Effective date: August 2026
The value of the work Celeritas Insights provides depends entirely on it being independent, objective, and free from bias. Our clients rely on our analysis to make significant decisions, and they can only trust it if they know it has not been shaped by a competing interest. This page explains, in plain terms, what we treat as a conflict of interest and how we handle one when it arises.
Our commitment
We are committed to independence, objectivity, and integrity in every engagement. We will not let any relationship, financial interest, or competing engagement compromise the impartiality of the analysis we deliver.
What we treat as a conflict of interest
We consider a conflict of interest to be any circumstance that could reasonably be seen to bias our work or compromise a client's confidentiality. This includes, among other things:
- Working for two or more clients whose interests directly compete, for example companies developing rival assets in the same indication.
- A personal or professional relationship that could influence, or appear to influence, our objectivity.
- Any financial interest that could bias, or appear to bias, the analysis we produce.
How we identify and disclose conflicts
Every prospective engagement is screened for potential conflicts before we accept it. Where we identify a potential conflict, whether at the outset or as an engagement evolves, we raise it with the client proactively and promptly rather than waiting to be asked.
How we manage competing engagements
Where an engagement could overlap with the interests of a current or recent client, we do not simply proceed. We undertake such work only after disclosing the potential conflict to the affected parties and obtaining their informed consent. If that consent is not given, we do not take the work forward in a way that would compromise it.
Confidentiality and non-use of information
Each client's confidential information is protected and is never used to benefit another client. We keep engagements and their work products separate, and information shared with us for one project is not carried across to another.
Securities and non-public information
We hold no positions in the companies we analyse. We never provide advice or take any action on the basis of material non-public information obtained through an engagement. Our independence is not for sale, and it is not compromised by any personal financial stake in the outcomes we assess.
Ongoing responsibility
Conflicts are not assessed only once. We reassess them as an engagement develops, and we invite clients to raise any concern about a potential or perceived conflict with us at any time. We would always rather have that conversation early.
Raising a concern
If you have a question or concern about a conflict of interest, whether potential, perceived, or actual, please get in touch with us through the contact section of our website. We take every such concern seriously and will respond promptly.
